Conceived from the beginning as a triptych, the Trilogy focuses on three of Edgar Allan Poe's most terrifying tales, turning them into as many (and equally frightening) phonodramas.
Despite the consistency of a taste and a unitary artistic project, each episode is extremely different from the others.
Voice and bird call, guitars and keyboards, drum and ethnic percussions, synth and spring-drums, bells, clocks, music boxes, spring toys etc etc combine to create, strictly live and without the use of samples, a sort of "audiomovie" in which a strongly expressive and dramatic narration is inextricably matched with musical scores inspired by experimental rock and soundtracks of the 70’s.
To further contribute to this kaleidoscopic vision, the complex graphic layout of each release (an illustrated 48-page booklet with the original text opposite) was entrusted to different artists.

A sound translation that, drawing with retro taste from a vast collection of not only musical references, recreates the livid, medieval and apocalyptic atmosphere of the story and captures the attention of the listener from the first notes to the tragic epilogue.
